Welcome!

I guess the big question is, why did I start this blog? The reason is a simple one. I am always a little disappointed when news stories about people doing "good works" are buried below all the daily death and destruction stories.

In tough times, like what we're in now, those stories seem to float up a little closer to the top, but never close enough.

We need these stories. They are uplifting, inspiring, and most important... they give us hope. Because when all we see on the nightly news in murder, war, starvation, and economic collapse, these stories serve as beacons of light showing us the path out of the darkness.

There's no religion behind this. You won't be preached to while you're here. I just wanted to create a place where people could come and get a little injection of hope and happiness during their day.
